Yesterday we had a family fotoshoot: my lovely mother with all three daughters It's not that often that we are all in the same spot at the same time - with my youngest sister living in the South of France, my middle sister near the Dutch border and myself only here in Germany half of all weeks! And boy, did we have a blast. 235 photos down the road my mom had become a bit tired and we were all ready for the offered prosecco - but it had been great fun working with our photographer, sweet Melanie of PicturePeople here in Duesseldorf. We had done a similar shoot many years ago and were ready with our "uniform" of white blouses, bluejeans, and t-hirts (changed this time around to a more becoming dusted rose color instead of the black of 7 (?) years ago). And all in white sneakers, of course. It took a bit to get used to the posing, but Melanie made it all come easy, with her cheerful and friendly, open nature and many a good tip on just how to stand or how to hold your chin to prevent blinking glasses (think of a chicken moving its head forward here). And look what we achieved: (Images become larger when you click on them!) It was a kind of hell to pare down to a manageable (and affordable!) 11 images, let me tell you that. But would you have thought that these are pics of women in their prime at 59, 56, 62, and 87 years old (following the order in the below goofy pic)?
I think we look just as young as we feel! Comments are closed.
