I can't quite believe it's been almost all year that I didn't post here. I have been a regular on Instagram and Facebook - but never got around to blogpost.
So the year has flown by, mmmh, it might seem so looking at my inactivity here, but it's actually NOT true. The months have been long, the days often quite endless ... the adjustment to being a pensioner has definitely not been easy. I am still struggling with the endless amounts of time, missing the structure of going to the office. I haven't gotten around to finding just the right volunteer activity, even though recently some more interesting things have crossed my path. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to teach Kundalini Yoga which I am still doing even though currently only once a week. But it keeps me sharp and engaged, after all I have to prepare the lesson and continue to learn more about the kriyas and the yogic philosophy. My urge to travel has all but disappeared. I DID enjjoy a looong vacation with the husband though: we were on the road with the car for almost 6 weeks, covering some 7,000km (France, Spain, Portugal and back). It was a leisurely way of moving about, driving only a few hours every other day and punctuating the trip with visits to friends and family. Now Christmas is coming up and we'll be together at my maternal home: 13 for the night before Christmas and again that many or more on the second day of Christmas. I am enjoying preparations (both in small gifts and in menu planning) and looking very much forward to visitors from as far as Southern France.' I hope to show up more regularly here in the future, I just have to get my priorities straight and waste less time on social media ... Comments are closed.
